The Events Sales Co-ordinator will be responsible for:
- Proactive and reactive sales handling all events and conference enquiries.
- Business development actively promoting the venue and arranging events to promote the type of events we can host.
- Grow relationships with clients to encourage repeat business.
- Negotiate sales and draw up contracts to secure the business.
- Maintain the events diaries
- Assist clients with connections to suppliers to create the full event package
- Attend weekly venue meetings to communicate the events diary to the operational team
The ideal candidate will have:
- A solid understanding of the conference and events market
- Previous Sales experience preferably in the Hospitality industry
- A passion for service
- Good organisation skills
- Great Communication with clients and management within the venue
- A performance driven approach
- An ability to use your own initiative and ownership
- A flexible approach to working hours
- Respectful of commitments
