Position – Restaurant Supervisor
Pay and Conditions – competitive salary depending on experience and personal preference plus tips. Actual hours of work are dependent on functions, bookings and customer timings, expect to work weekends, evenings and some daytimes making up a minimum of approx 40-50hrs per week.
The butterfly and the pig has firmly established itself over the past eight years to be one of Glasgow’s most loved restaurants. Through attention to detail, consistent focus on customer service and ensuring the freshly prepared food is of the highest standards we have built up a good reputation and loyal customer base. We are looking to take on a restaurant supervisor who respects the work already done and can ensure all these standards are maintained and then to also strive to improve them further.
Job Role – Includes all aspects of restaurant supervising such as staff training, table reservations, function booking, liaising with kitchen team, menu selection and of course hands-on front of house service.
Job progression – Having recently opened Mcgregor’s pie and ale, and further venues in the pipeline we are looking for the successful candidate to integrate with the existing team before progressing into a trainee manager role as the company expands.
Key Skills – Computer literate in Excel, word and email, Organisational ability, Great customer service, and knowledge of food and wines.
Essential skills – Fluent English and right to work in uk.
