The Red Cross believes everyone should have the opportunity to learn first aid and know how to help in a crisis. Our teaching methods are based on educational research that identifies how people most effectively learn, retain and recall first aid skills.
We provide a range of first aid courses and have developed free online learning resource and apps to make first aid accessible for all.
Our educational aim is to make first aid skills simpler and easier to learn, we hope people will be more confident and willing to use their first aid skills in an emergency.
The main focus of this role is to provide integrated marketing and communications across first aid training campaigns for the workplace targeting businesses of all sizes in terms of employees and in line with HSE (Health & Safety Executive) guidelines for workplace first aid training provision.
Reporting to the B2B Marketing Manager, you will work as part of the marketing team in the implementation of specific marketing plans, which support business growth for the achievement of first aid training targets.
The post-holder will provide marketing and communication support to assist with the delivery of the marketing plans, exhibitions and events, advertising, commercial partnerships and positioning needs of the organisation.
The post-holder will liaise with relevant RCT teams, education product team and the UK Office-based marketing team to share key learning and experience to develop communications.
The successful applicant will be dynamic, creative and highly motivated self-starter with excellent marketing capabilities, copy writing and communications skills and has the desire to succeed. This role will make a vital contribution to the workplace positioning of the British Red Cross.
